As the CEO, I get the privilege of writing the section. If you know me, you know my biggest pride and joy is my team. One of the biggest pieces to the success of this company is this lady: Miss Stephanie Welsh. She joined the MC Shine team in January 2023. Every owner, manager, or HR director has been in the spot where I was back in January of ‘23 at one time or two. I sat down with her, and after the first 5 minutes, I wanted to give her an offer letter. Of course, I couldn’t because there was a process that I had to follow, but that shows you that she brought her “A” game to that interview. She has not stopped to this day. She brings that kind of passion, professionalism, and persistence to every situation and every opportunity that she faces daily here at MC Shine.Stephanie is the Account Coordinator for our commercial and residential cleaning department. She oversees all of our one-time customers, all of our contracted commercial EVS contracts, and our janitorial contracts. She is the voice between our technicians out in the field and our customers!
For the individuals who have had the opportunity to work with Stephanie, you may not always see what happens behind the scenes. Many times, she has stayed late to finish writing up a contract to meet a deadline for you or to fix a problem for one of our customers at the last minute, making sure they feel like they are our number one priority. She’s filled in and worked with the techs out in the field because they are light-staffed and she doesn’t want to see them working late or even on their own. She is a true team leader who listens and cares about her team.
Here are just some of the things she accomplished in her short time at MC Shine! Stephanie has built a core EVS cleaning team, organized and helped rebuild the cleaning department that we have today with new SOP and various documents, and made it her mission to work with our VP, Kevin Postill, to go after larger contracts with bigger corporations so that she is able to provide more stable job opportunities for her team members. In addition, she has created an outstanding communication dialogue between MC Shine and our contracted accounts, while simplifying a lot of our processes to make it easier for our staff to perform our services.
She is one of the toughest, most passionate, and professional individuals we have had the privilege to work with. Keep up the great work, Stephanie! Our team and our customers are lucky to have you in their corner! I could not think of a better person than you to be the first voice and face that our customers here see when requesting cleaning services with your department. You are truly excelling at a high level, and I could not be more proud of the things that you have accomplished! If you happen to talk with Stephanie when scheduling an estimate or a job, do me a favor and tell her she is a rockstar!!
