Our Story
In 2004, while trying to bring in additional income for the family, Michelle (Rostoni) put an ad in the paper for house cleaning, and within a week, she had scheduled her first job. She prided herself on providing detailed, quality cleaning and giving our customers exactly the type of house cleaning they wanted and needed. From there, due to Michelle’s dedication and meticulous nature, our reputation as a great cleaning company grew, and in 2006, Craig (Rostoni) became a huge part of MC Shine. He built a small pole barn on the family property for the business and bought the first portable carpet and tile and grout cleaning unit. Our sales and values continued to expand from there.
We hired our first employees over the next four years and bought our first truck-mounted carpet-cleaning van. Craig, as committed as he was, was still working 50/60 hours a week as a manager in a local Meijer. All his carpet tile and grout jobs were scheduled after his Meijer shift and on his days off. The blessings continued when MC Shine added a second shift to clean offices at night. That is when Ryan (Rostoni) came on full-time working the janitorial team.
In 2011, Craig took the dive and went ALL IN on MC Shine. The business started to see faster growth than we had before, and we moved the business out of the pole barn in Burtchville into a warehouse in Port Huron.
During the next ten years, the business has continued to expand, and in doing so, we were able to start offering restoration services to our clients. Our reputation as a reliable and professional cleaning company helped clients feel comfortable with us to ask for help during their most vulnerable times.
In 2023, we moved into our new office on Pine Grove Ave. in Fort Gratiot and have continued to increase our value by also offering not only carpet and tile and grout cleanings but also daily janitorial accounts, window cleanings, reconstruction services, fire remediation, and more.
Our goals and mission haven’t changed since 2006 – only expanded. We are extremely blessed to have a very talented and passionate team working for us. From our leaders and office staff to the technicians in the field caring for our customers. This team continues to resonate and embody our mission, core values, and purpose.
