In general, your homeowners, business or Renters insurance policy will pay for whatever disaster happens. Every policy is different and every claim is different. That is why it is so important that you are properly covered in case a mishap or damages done in your home by water, smoke, bacteria, and fire.
Some cases this may vary, but the general rule is you must continue to pay your mortgage, even if your home is destroyed or unlivable due to a disaster of any kind.
M.C. Shine Cleaning & Restoration experts, as well as your insurance adjuster, look closely at several pieces of evidence to make their determination of the amount and cause of damage: Including wind data, flood and rainfall data, and pre-existing conditions.
The check is made out to your name and that of your legal representative, who will handle its delivery. Payments for our services are made directly to us in the name of our company.
In most cases no it doesn’t. We always suggest talking with your agent about this question. This is usually the standard for most cases. Your insurance premium will not increase due to the claims process because it is based on the conditions of your policy for which you have already paid. However, the insurance premium may increase based on the number of claims filed in the ZIP Code area you belong to, but this increase is not related to the claim you file.
The duration of the claims process depends not only on us, but also on the response times of your insurance company. However, our team work to provide a prompt response to your claim. Typically, the claim process takes anywhere from 30 to 90 days.
If your claim is denied, you should contact your legal representation, who will provide you with different options for proceeding. In some cases, it may be possible to reopen the claim to give you another opportunity to obtain a satisfactory response. Remember, M.C. Shine will be with you throughout the whole process regardless if your claim is denied or not; we are here to serve you and help you however we can accommodate based on your needs and budget.
Anytime is ideal to file your claim; However, you should ensure that the date of the incident fall within the coverage period of your policy. It is recommended to file the claim after your renewal to maintain an active relationship with the insurance company.
Every claim is different. The standard if it is an insurance claim, the insured will receive a check from their insurance company with the final amount, and then a check will be made out from the insured to our company in our name. In some cases, it is sent out to us directly. Every claim is processed a little differently. Regardless of how and when the final payment is distributed, the final payment will not be cut until a certificate of satisfaction (COS)is signed from the homeowner stating that they are satisfying with the services rendered from M.C. Shine.
The likelihood of this happening is minimal. However, if it does occur, understand you as the property owner takes full responsibility of the invoice. We work for you not the insurance company. You ultimately are responsible for the services rendered.
The payments for our services for mitigation is separate from the reconstruction services that we offer. However, some policies have limits in these cases, and our representatives will explain how the payment is handled for each service and we will work with you and your insurance carrier to know your limits and your coverages. Note, this is something that will be fully discussed and understood before any of the reconstruction starts.
