What an amazing month we had in June! We could not wait until the August newsletter! We want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who helped support us on rug day, June 5th! First, I would like to thank my team for all of the support leading up to and on the day of the event. We would never have been able to put on such a great event without your support!
Secondly, a special thank you to Maggie Varney and her team with Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan. It is absolutely amazing what you do for the community and all of our families! Thank you to all vendors, including Q Country, Eli’s Eats In The Streets, and Tropical Smoothie. Thank you to the various fire department personnel who supported us, and a huge shout out to the Marysville and Fort Gratiot fire departments! Thank you to the Blue Water Chamber of Commerce for our grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration of our 20th anniversary!
Thank you to MDOT for allowing us to use some of your property to help with the overflow of parking cars. Thank you to all the volunteers and visitors who came out and supported us during our area rug cleaning day! Also, a special thank you to Nora Condland and to James and Cynthia King for donating your trailer to help transport all of the area rugs we received from our main office to our warehouse! A big shout out and thank you to all our amazing customers who supported us on this big day by bringing in your area rugs!
As you all know, this was a fundraiser to help support Maggie‘s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan. Our financial goal was to make enough money to donate at least $1,200 to cover the cost of one wig, but we could bypass that goal and donate $3,144.94 with your amazing support! We could not have done this without you taking time out of your busy schedule to drop off your rugs! We received well over 50 rugs! We are so blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of something so amazing like this.
